MANPOWER COMMITTEE
FARMERS ON HAURAKI PLAINS
A sitting of the Paeroa Manpower Committee was held in Thames on Monday when the following appeals from the Hauraki Plains were dealt with: — ’
Both appeals were adjourned sine die.
J. Porter on 'behalf of J. 0. Brown, sharemilker, of Pipiroa, on condition the reservist remains in his present occupation and continues to serve in the Home Guard. S. Dalgety on behalf of Victor Grbic, sharemilker, on condition the reservist remains in his present occupation and joins the Home Guard within seven days. The chairman, Mr Edwin Edwards, 'presided and associated with him were Messrs E. J. Wilton, J. J. Poland ■and the secretary, Mr A. Ripley.
