E.P.C. MEETING

WOMEN IN WHITIANGA FIRST-AID CLASSES TO BE HEW A meeting of the women’s Emergency (Precautions Corps was held in Whitianga on the evening of June 6 in the E.P.S. buildings. There was a small attendance. Mrs Oxley presided.

Members decided to spend up to £5 of the funds in hand to procure first aid equipment under the E.P.S. subsidy scheme. The list of requirements was left in the hands of Mrs Oxley.

A date was fixed in June to begin the monthly first aid practices. The first aid equipment at the emergency headquarters has been covered by insurance by a generous gift by Mr Turley. The secretary was asked, to write and thank Mr Turley and also Mr and Mrs. Heald for the use of their house for the first aid classes which concluded about a month ago.
