ACCEPTANCES AGAIN GOOD FIELDS FOR SECOND DAY WINTER MEET AT ELLERSLIE Good acceptances have 'been received for the second day of the Auckland Racing Club's Winter Meeting at Ellerslie on Saturday. With 48 acceptors, the Fitzroy Handicap will be divided into two separate races, with a stake of £350 each, and they will :be the seventh and eighth races respectively. Provision will be made for divisions in the York Handicap, in which case the prize-money will be increased to £750, the winner of each division to receive £3OO, second £so' and third £25.
