CHURCH SOCIAL
ST. PAUL’S LADIES’ GUILD AN ENJOYABLE EVENING On Monday evening the members of the St. Paul’s Church Ladies’ Guild assisted by Mrs R. Cleary and Mr P. Caisley, held a social in the Parish Hall. Although the crowd was not as large as was anticipated owing to several other counter attractions in the town and district, a very enjoyable time was spent in dancing as
the majority comprised the younger set of the town.
The duties of M.C. were ably carried out 'by Mr Caisley and music was supplied by Miss Rita Smith, Mrs R. Cleary and Mr.Caisley. The supper was most appetising and was supplied by the Ladies’ 'Guild. After supper Canon W. G. H. Weadon thanked those present for their help and support and expressed the hope that several more such social evenings would be held during the coming winter season.
