1600 YDS. FROM MANGATAR ATA
FIGURES FOR THE MONTH
During the month of March 1600 cubic yards of metal were secured from the Mangatarata quarry, reported the overseer, Mr J. C. Clarke, to the monthly meeting of .the Hauraki Plains County Council. The metal was used as under: —.
Highways and road maintenance, 262 s cub. yds.; Government grant metalling, 140 cub. yds.; private sales', 1197 s cub. yds.
