SOME DODGE EACH YEAR

PAYMENT OF ifiIAINAGE RATES When the question of the collection of rate arrears was being discussed at the monthly meeting of the Hauraki United Drainage Board a member expressed the opinion that the policy taken at present was not firm enough. “ We should take more drastic action,” he contended. From the statement furnished by the clerk, Mr J. E. Green, it was seen that certain men dodged payment each year and these people he said should be handled firmly.
