COROMANDEL COUNTY WORK BORROWED FROM SETTLERS At the monthly meeting of the Coromandel County Council Cr. (H. C. Bull remarked about the tool shortage for county workmen while working on the Waitekuri bridge repair job. He stated the men had had to canvass the settlers for stocks and dies in- order to carry on the work. He also mentioned the lack of axes for men when clearing vision on various roads. After discussion it was resolved that the engineer be instructed to obtain tools required.
