NATIONAL PARTY
ANNUAL MEETING IN PAEROA
OFFICERS FOR ENSUING YEAR
The annual meeting of the Paeroa branch of the New Zealand National Party was held in the Parish Hall on Thursday evening, the chairman, Mr W. F. Johnstone, presiding. The chairman urged all members to rally round the party, stating that it seemed certain that an election would be held some time this year. The election of officers resulted as under: —Chairman, Mr F. Johnstone.; vice-chairman, Mr R. S. Carden; secretary, Mr H. C. Jackson; committee, Messrs D. G. McMillan, P. R. Hubbard, C. G. Jackson, H. Gillard, A. E. Day, H. Kennedy, J. Boyd, Mrs W. P. Murray and Miss V. Menzies.
