SOCIAL & DANCE FOR SOLDIERS FUNCTION WEDNESDAY NIGHT The Welcome Home Committee of the Paeroa District Patriotic Committee has arranged a social card party and dance to 'be held in the Regent Ballroom next Wednesday night, April 29-, to welcome home all soldiers who have returned to date.

Excellent music will be provided and interspersed throughout the pro-, gramme will be a number of very enjoyable items. Good prizes will be • provided for the cards. Admission will be Is 6d per head and it is expected that every person possible will attend to fittingly express the appreciation of the citizens of Paeroa for the sacrifice the .guests of honour have made.

Among those to be welcomed home are: —C. Fraser, C. J. Williams, L. A. Rackham, L. Bramble, T. Frost, R. J. Broadmore, N. N. J. Watson, H. Charlesworth, ‘ R. Royal. • Any person knowing of any other soldier who has returned should advise the secretary of the Welcome Home Committee, Mi’ C. A. Blackwood, Phone 31.
