LITTLE RAIN
FIGURES FOR DECEMBER 3.78 INCHES FOR MONTH RECORDINGS TAKEN IN PAEROA A total rainfall of 3.78 inches was recorded in Paeroa for December by the Paeroa office of the Public Works Department. Rain was recorded on 14 days during the month, the heaviest being on December 13 and 24 when 1.16 and 1.03 inches respectively were registered. Bright sunshine was recorded on 16 days of the month. The total rainfall for the year was 45.80 inches as compared, with 45.90 inchest for the whole year last year. Barometric pressure showed little fluctuation, the lowest recorded being 29.54 on December 24 while the highest was registered at 30.25 on December 3 and 4. Recordings from the thermometer showed little variation, the lowest being 57 degrees on December 20 and the highest 66 degrees on December 9, 21, 25 and 29.
