Mr Sandy Duncan of Hikutaia, who recently underwent a serious operation m Auckland is now reported to be making satsfactory progress.
Mr C. A. Blackwood, of Paeroa, has returned from an extended motoring tour of Dunedin, Queenstown, and the Southern Lakes.
Mi’ M. J. Miles, organiser of the St. John Ambulance Centennial Baby Carnival, whose object Is to raise £50,000 for furthering the work of the association in New Zealand, has arrived in Paeroa from Whangarei.
