IMPROVEMENT IN BACONERS LOAN COMPANY’S QUOTATIONS All space was occupied at the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company’s pig yards on Monday for the fortnightly sale and the capacity yarding met good competition. All store pigs sold on a par with outside rates and were hard to quit.

Choppers made from £2 IPs to £4; heavy baconers, £3 9s to £3 13s; medium baconers, £3 2s to £3 8s; light baconers, £2 15s to £3; medium porkers, £2 10s to £2 13s; lighter, 38s to £2 ss; large stores, 22 s to 28s; slips, 16s to 20s; good weaners, 10s to 12s; others, 3s to Bs.
