PAEROA DRUIDS
INSTALLATION DATE FIXED
NEW DISTRICT PRESIDENT
The A.D., Bro. E. V. Slyfield, presided over the regular fortnightly meeting of the Star of Paeroa Lodge on Monday evening. Owing to a recent accident the secretary, Bro. J. T. Brown, was unable to be present, Bro. L. C. Cane acting as secretary. The sick report was presented by the Arch Druid Bards and the payments due under this head were passed for settlement.
The, report of last week’s meeting of Grand Lodge at New Plymouth will be released at next meeting. It was decided that the installation of Bro. Slyfield as District President be proceeded with at next meeting on April 3, invitations to attend being sent to district lodges. The sympathy of the lodge was extended to sick and injured brothers, a number of whom had sent apologies for absence.
The harmony of indoor bowling was indulged in at the close of the meeting.
