UNIFORM CARS

MANY GO OUT OF PRODUCTION Colonel von Schell, the Transport Commissioner in Berlin, has announced that 270 out of 335 types of motor vehicles manufactured in Germany will go out of production at the end of this year as military and civil requirements demanded uniform production. The 113 existing commercial types would be reduced to 15, but it was impossible to reduce greatly the existing 52 types of motor cars.
