SEPTEMBER RAINFALL
COMPARISON SINCE 1924 LIGHT FALLS ON 22 DAYS The Public Works Department’s rainfall guage at Paeroa indicated that light rain fell on 22 days during last month, the total fall being 3.97 inches. On 10 days there wre light showers, nine showery, seven bright sunshine and four overcast.
Barometric pressure ranged from
29.74 to 30.43 while the temperatures varied from 46 degrees to 62 degrees.
The rainfall to date is 62.57 inches as compared with 43.54 inches in the
corresponding time last year. The following table gives the comparison of the September rainfall and number of rain days over the past 15 years:—
