OBITUARY

MR S. C. PARLOUR The death at Puru, Thames coast, of Mr Samuel Coates Parlour removes one who was all his life associated with the flax-milling industry in the district. Many years ago he was interested in flax-milling' properties at Waitoa and also at Awaiti, near Paeroa. The late Mr Parlour, who was born at Durham, England, was well-known in Paeroa thirty years ago. He later settled in Morrinsville where he was identified with several sporting and social organisations.
