MR BLYTH’S LETTER

THE CORONATION CONTINGENT. In a letter to his parents, Mr and Mrs F. C. Blyth of Paeroa, Mr Huia Blyth, a member of the Coronation Contingent, wrote from Panama that all were well and enjoying the trip. Before breakfast the contingent has an hour’s physical training, rifle exercises between 3.30 and 4.30 p.m., and the rest of the time is free. It was usually taken up with various sports and games held on the ship. Excepting for two or three rough days the voyage has been pleasant but uneventful. Mr Blyth sent kind regards to all inquiring friends and thanks for the many telegrams and letters received on his departure from Wellington.
