KITCHEN EVENING

FUNCTION AT KOPUARAHI. The residents of Kopuarahi tendered to Miss Jean Beddie a kitchen evening on Saturday in the Kopuarahi school prior to her wedding with Mr W. McCoid, of Morrinsville. Over sixty people were. present to honour the young couple. Dancing occupied the evening, Mr E. E. O’Carroll being M.C. and the music was supplied by Miss L. Green, Miss Glad Hale and Mrs C. Marceau. Supper was provided by the ladies. On behalf of the Kopuarahi people, Mr D. J. O’Carroll wished the couple every happiness and presented them with many gifts from well-wishers.
