BREACHES ON PLAINS INSPECTORS’ PROSECUTIONS. The Hauraki group traffic inspector, Mr D. E. Morrow, conducted several prosecutions against motorists in the Magistrate’s Court at Thames on Monday. Ching Sue, who did not appear, was fined 20/- and costs for exceeding the speed limit on the Pipiroa-Ngatea main highway. Charlie Douglas pleaded guilty to operating an unregistered and unlicensed motor car on the same highway, and was fined 70/- and costs 12/-. The inspector stated that Douglas had been warned previously. A fine of 20/- and costs 12/- was imposed on Alister Keane for driving a motor car on the Ngatea-Pipiroa main highway and not being the holder of a driver’s license.
