PAEROA PIG SALE ANOTHER FULL YARDING PRICES EASE SLIGHTLY There was again a full yarding of pigs at the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd’s fortnightly sale at the Paeroa yards on Monday. Prices were slightly easier than at the previous sale. Heavy baconers made to £3, medium weight baconers to £2 15s, heavy porkers and light baconers £2 to £2 Bs, light porkers £1 10s to £1 18s; large stores 25s to 355; slips 18s to 245; and weaners 12s to £l. NGATEA STOCK SALE The Farmers’ Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report having held its sale at Ngatea yesterday, when a good yarding of cattle came forward, consisting of a fair proportion of beef and a large entry of store and boner cows. A good bench of buyers created keen competition in the beef section, values being well up to recent sales while store and boner cows sold on a par with late quotations. Heavy fat cows and heifers brought £5 2s to £6 15s; medium fat cows £4 5s to £5; light fat cows, £3 10s to £4 killable cows, £3 to £3 7s 6d; freshconditioned cows, £2 5s to £2 19s; boner cows, heavy, 30 s to £2; lighter, 22s to 295; potter bulls, heavy, £4 to £5 2s 6d; others £3 to £3 19s ,6d; yearling Shorthorn steers £2 15s; yearling Freisian heifers, 325.
