THE PAEROA ASSOCIATION. SATURDAY’S MATCHES. The Paeroa Cricket Association’s interclub competition was concluded on Saturday with the exception of one postponed game between Ramblers and Wanderers. Old Boys had a win, giving it 26 championship points, and Ramblers had a win, making its total 22, so if it can beat Wanderers it will also be 26. Karangahake now has 23 points and Wanderers 14. McMillan, of Pipiroa, and very close finishes in two of the matches were the features of the third series of second round of the Hauraki Plains Cricket Association’s interclub competition which were completed in splendid weather on Saturday last. A reversal of form in the NgateaMaramarua game gave Ngatea a win by three runs, and a fine score by H. ; Wright almost gave Kerepeehi a win, 1 Waitakaruru securing the champion-

ship points with a margin of four runs. Despite McMillan’s splendid score, but probably on account of it the Pipiroa team did not win, for Kaihere was unable to complete its innings, so won the match on the first innings. With two matches yet to be played the championship points are now:— Maramarua 24, Ngatea 23, Waitakaruru 21, Kaihere 15, Kerepeehi 8 and Pipiroa 1.
