PAEROA V. TE AROHA. WIN FOR PAEROA B. The Paeroa Tennis Club’s B team visited Te Aroha on Saturday last and had a win by 11 sets to two. Details of the scores are as follows, the Paeroa players names being given ■ first:— Men’s Singles.—-Laurie beat Fairey 9—4, Sinith beat Wallace 9—5, Dixon lost to Dainton 7 —9, Todd beat Vickers 9—3. Ladies’ Singles;—Mrs Aitken beat Mrs Gardiner .7—5, Miss Silcock lost to Mrs. Fairey I—7. Men’s Doubles.—Laurie and Todd beat Fairey and Wallace 9—4, Smith and Dixon beat Dainton and Vickers 9—4; Aitken and Clark beat Hume and Henrick, 9^-—4. Ladies’-Doubles.—Mrs Aitken and Miss Silcock beat Mrs Gardiner and Miss Fairby 7—6; Miss Hume and Miss Matkovich beat Mrs Adams and Miss Maingay 7—2. Combined Doubles. —Aitken and Miss Hume beat Hume and Mrs Adams 7—4; Clark and Miss Matkovich beat Henrick and Miss Maingay 7—4. HIKUTAIA B V. KOPU. On Saturday last Hikutaia B players met Kopu, details of the scores 'being' as- follows, Hikutaia players being mentioned first:— Men’s Singles.—Vedder lost to Smith 3—9, V. Alley beat Morgan ’9—4, Prendiville lost to Denize 4—9, Dunwoodie beat Riahana (retired) 5— 4.

Ladies’ Singles.—Miss L, Gubblost to Miss Gregory 5—7, Miss R. Alley beat Miss Arundel 7—3. Men’s Doubles. —Vedder and Alley beat Smith and Morgan 9—6, Prendiville and Dunwoodie lost to Denize and Riahana 4—9, Miller and Morrison lost to Pantail and Jamieson

Ladies’ Doubles. —Misses Gubb and Alley beat Misses Gregory and Arundel 7—4, Mrs Murdock and Miss Morrison lost to Misses Causley and Jamieson 2—7. Combined Doubles. —(Miller and Mrs Murdock lost to Pantali and Miss Causley 2—7, Morrison and Miss Morrison lost to Jamieson and Miss Jamieson 5—7.
