THE PAEROA ASSOCIATION.

MEETING OF EXECUTIVE.

The Paeroa Cricket Association executive met on Wednesday evening, Mr H. M. Shand presiding. It was decided to offer the Waihi Association March 3 -for its challenge match for the Court Cup.

•It was decided that a challenge be lodged for the South Auckland Shield, at present held by the Waipa Association.

Next Saturday will complete the third and final round of the competition, though Wanderers and Ramblers have to play each other at a dateto be fixed. The competition is in an interesting stage. Karangahake has 22 points, Qld Boys 22, Ramblers 18 and Wanderers 13, the two latter having an extra game to play. Referring to the departure of Mr H. C. Arnold it was decided that the secretary write him expressing the thanks of all Paeroa cricketers for his valuable services to cricket and to wish him success and happiness in his new home. Before he left Mr Arnold intimated that he would return to keep the score book for the Waihi game.
