MINING.
TALISMAN DUBBO. Operations are now being started to open up a level on the Maria Reef in the Talisman Dubbo Gold Mines Limited’s property, approximately 100 feet below the Talisman Dubbo level to cut the downward trend of the runs of rich ore met with in that level. A survey has been made by Mx E. F. Adams, and the No. 1 Talisman level will be picked up by a short cross-cut of 100 feet and followed to the face, which is on the reef up to the boundary. From here the drive -m the reef will be continued through the company’s property.
