WANTED—CONFIDENCE.
COALITION WILL BRING IT. Confidence ■is the key-note of the future. There is no doubt that political events play a very big part in the establishment of such a confidence, os was clearly demonstrated in the brighter outlook noticeable in marketing and financial circles after the results of the British elections became known. This holds true in New Zealand, as not only investors and business men, but farmers and workers generally are postponing new ventures and restricting their normal extensions and improvements until they can see something brighter for the future, The recent formation of the Coalition Cabinet has done much. to revive this spirit of confidence, as it is generally felt that such a determined and co-ordinated effort must react beneficially upon conditions in the country. The return of the Coalition Government at the forthcoming elections, will undoubtedly create confidence in the future. Money will be released for the encouragement of new enterprises and the development of existing industries, thus leading to the absorption of the and a much better outlook for the future.*
