—Z 000 BATTLE IN SECOND RUGBY TEST MATCH TO-MORROW. AUSTRALIA’S TEST CRICKET VICTORY. Local Rugby, Hockey, Golf and Rifle Shooting. To-morrow the British and New Zealand Rugby representatives will meet at Christchurch in the second Test match, which- promises to provide another Homeric struggle. Reports from Canterbury indicate that enormous popular interest has been aroused, so that the attendance promises to eclipse all previous records. Overseas, attention has been rivetted ort the Second'Test Match between the Australian and English/ cricketers, the game being rendered noteworthy, not only by the victory of the Colonials, but also by reason of a number of previous records it saw broken, due chiefly to the marvellous ‘batsmanship of the young Australian, “Don’! Bradman. “Wicket Keeper” writes interestingly on the subject. Local Rugby, Hockey, Golf and Rifle Shooting are also covered.
