CHARGED WITH SWINDLING.
FED WITH CHOCOLATE. BERLIN, June 23. Jolly, the fasting specialist, who lately undertook a six weeks’ fast in Germany, has been arrested for swindling the public, because it is now alleged that during his Six weeks’ fast inside a glass case he was nightly supplied with chocolate in thin sticks, passed through the aperture for electric light wire. Jolly detaies the charges, which he says have been brought against him by his ex-man-ager in revenge because he refused to take the manager to Amehiea.
