WHAT DAIRYMEN SHOULD USE.

THE “VICTORY?’ COW DETECTOR. The dairy farmer who is on the alert, to secure the best service from his herd needs hardly to be reminded of the wisdom of utilising the machinations-of inventive genius. • In the Victory Cow Detector, which is being exhibited on an attractive stand in the main annexe of the Winter Show buildings, a very important 'aid to efficiency in dairying ■ returns, is presented, and herd owners should make a point of inspecting the invention, which will be readily explained to enquirers by the principals at the stand. The detector is for herdtesting and open-bucket milking,:-in which it has produced results which stamp its efficiency as very high. After being submitted to-a test of oyer 18 months’ daily use in. the cowshed on all makes and conditions of milking machines in unskilled hands the Victory Detector has proved to i’je the-' most simple,, efficient, reliable, sanitary, and quickest in use and to instal for herd-testing. It has been adopted by the N.Z. Co-op. Dairy C 0.,, Ltd. The Waikato Farmers’ Union Her.d Testing Association''has also adopted the Victory ' Detector, of which Mr A. P. Schmitt, the secretary, says : “The Victory has. given every satisfaction; in no case has it failed. It will stand any carrying about, etc.” Another important feature about the “Victory” to be men tinned is that it can be fixed to any. make of machine in a couple of minutes. The sole manufacturers and patentees are The Dominion Hardware Co., Ltd., Auckland. i The 1923 Victory releaser milking machine, to be seen at the saine stand, also merits the careful attention of any farmer who desires the minimum of labour and expense cofrlbined with the maximum of simplicity and efficiency.
