Revised Postal Rates

From the Ist March, 1931, postage and telegraph charges will be as follows : Letters and Letter Cards—lnland, 2d for first loz. and Id for each additional oz, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, United Slates of America, and all other places to which Postal Union rates (minimum, 2lid) do not apply ; 2d for first I ozs., and Id for each addit-iona l oz. Registration fee 41, Late fee 2d. Post-cards—lnland, single Id. Packets -Comprising Commerc'al Papers (accounts, invoices, etc.). Looks and printed papers, pattern and Sample packets, and unregistered Magazines—lnland Id each 4 ozs., up to l ib., and 41 each additional pound up tr 51 bs Newspapers—lnland, Id each Bozs, United Kingdomldeach 6azs. Parcel Pest.—lnland, not exceeding lib 6'\ not exceeding 2lbs 1/; each additional lb or fraction up to lllbs 3d. Fragile fee, 1/and 1/6 Maximum dimensions of Inland pucels 6ft in length and girth combined. Inland Telegrams—Week days -ordinary, 1/ for first 12 words and Id for every additional. Urgent, 2/ for first 12 words and 2d for each additional word. Sundays and holidays, double the ratps for week days. Night Letter Telegrams—l/ f or first 24 words (including adiress and signature), and Id for each additional 2 words. Inland Multiple Telegrams— The additional fee for each adIress after the first will be for ordinary telegrams. 4id. nreent telearrairs 9d.
