STOP-WORK MEETING
An important stop-work meeting of the Rotowaro Miners’ Union was held at the Town Hall on Monday last. So far as can be ascertained the matter was not one affecting the management; hut related to Union affairs only. The usual crop of rumours are current regarding financial statements, election of officers, etc., and a certain amount of feeling seems manifest. A representative of the Press was invited to he present; but before the meeting commenced a resolution was carried requesting the Press to withdraw. No further information is therefore available for publication.
