Eight members of the Ngaruawahia Club journeyed to Huntly on Wednesday last to try conclusions with the local club. The players comprised four A’s and four B’s belonging to the visitors and four A’s and two B’s belonging to the local club. The following were the scores, the visitors' names being mentioned first in each:— A: Mesdames Rogers and Hutt 11, v. Mesdames Black and Harrison 26. Mesdames Paterson and Gall 26, v. Mesdames Speirs and Meek 20. B: | Mesdames Ganderton and Benson 26, v. Mesdames Brooks and Berry 6. Mesdames Raynor and Turbott 24, v. Mesdames Brooks and Serry 20.
