Huntly P. and K. Club
A committee meeting of the above Club was held in the Huntly Hotel on Tuesday evening last. Present —Messrs H. H. Sissons « (chairman) C. Starr, J. Brooks, D. Starr, J. Connelly, T. Starr, H v Clinch and W. H. Thomas, Secretary. The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed Correspondence—From .Mr. J. * Cooper, granting the dates July 4th and sth, also notifying the Club that champions had been allotted to Pekin ducks, Rhode Island Reds, and certififcates for Hamburgs, and Greyhounds for the N.Z.K.C. Challenge. From Mr J. M. Thompson, Auckland, accepting the appointment of judge of all poultry. ■ The secretary reported that he had not received word from Mr J. Mason, Auckland, as to whether he could act as judge of dogs. Moved by Mr Thomas : That no special be inserted in the schedule under 10s 6d, seconded by C. Starr —carried. Moved by Mr Brooks : That if Mr Mason could nat accept the position that Mr Norman Wade, Auckland, be asked to judge the dogs, barring the bull dog class, seconded by Mr C. Starr—carried. Time did not permit to finish compiling the schedule and special prizes, and the meeting was adjourned until next Tuesday at 7.30 p.m.
