The Position at Huntly.

We learn from a reliable source that the position at Huntly is relatively not quite so bad as to output of coal as at Te Alcatea, the shortage here being given at about 1000 tons in the fortnight. This is, of course, bad enough, or rather too bad, and the public must soon feel the pinch if it is kept up, but wo are confident that better or perhaps more prudent counsels will soon prevail here, and the output jump back to the normal.
