The biggest cemetery in the world is the Catacombs at Rome. They contain six million bodies. The finest human hair is golden and red is the coarsest. The thickr.ess of the human hair varies from the 250th to the 600th part of an inch. The Greek sponge-drivers often work at- a depth of 30 fathoms, and sometimes more. As a rule, however, descents beyond a depth of 30 fathoms are impossible, because of the immense pressure of water, and because air cannot be pumppd much further.
