Sergeant-' Reginald Brown, Royal New Zealand. Air Force, killed on operations.. His father is*' Alf-’C. Brow.fi, Manukau roacl, Epsom, 'Auckland. Sappep Leslie John Entwist-le, j -died' in Egypt on December 10th. as the result of an accident. His aunt is Airs Duncan Darroeh, AVaikari.
Sapper Entwistle, the eldest son of Airs Pugh, C "hristcliurcli, and a wellknown broadsider in the city, went to the Alarist- Brothers 1 School and then worked for the Public 'Works Department. As a broadsider he was the youngest rider to oppose the touring Americans, and lie toured tlnfc North IslancJ, with Put Alossmanls team.
Airs A. J." Canning, of Wellington, has been advised that her son, Pilot Officer Charles De Vie Halkett, who waSs reported .missing on September 9tlv. j is now known to have been killed. Pilot Officer Halkett, "aged 24, was educated at AA 7 ellington College and Otago University. He was partly trained in the Royal . New Zealand Air Force ‘before leaving New Zealand in April last to undergo further instruction in England.
