INQUEST VERDICT. j (Per Press Association—Copyright). PALMERSTON NORTH, Dec. 11. At the inquest on Pilot Officer Thomat Kirk, 26, who was killed in an aero plane crash at Tokomaru on Novembei 14, evidence of police searchers showed the wreckage was spread over a wide area, the machine crashing into a rock face. One witness was of the opinion that death occurred before the plane was burned, deceased’s skull being fractured. A verdict of accidentally killed was returned. AIRMEN’S BADGE WELLINGTON, December 11. New Zealand-trained Sergeant Pilots of the R.N.Z.A.E. have been issued with a new and distinctive clotb shoulder badge, which iinmediately identifies their land of origin. Above the R.A.F. eagle appears the words “New Zealand,” in broad blue letters. The whole badge is similar to that worn by Polish members with the R.A.F,
