RAIDS ON ENEMY

R.A.F. OPERATIONS COASTAL COMMAND ACTIVE (British Official Wireless.) (Received this day at 9.12 a.m.) RUGBY, December 6. Aircraft of the Coastal Command are officially stated to have carried out a raid on an electro chemical factory at Eindhoven, yesterday. Rotterdam airport and Haamstede aerodrome were also attacked. Other Coastal Command aircraft bombed a submarine base at Lorient. Owing to bad weather, last night, bomber operations were cancelled. Two of our aircraft are missing from routine patrols.
