FUNDS OF BANKRUPT. DUNEDIN, September 13. 'There were unusual features about the matter before Justice Kennedy in the Supreme Court to-day, this being a notice of motion for an order to approve of the disposal of assets in the deceased estate of William Sutherland. .. f late of Ivaka Point. It was disclosed that after declarations of bankruptcy had been made and the bankrupt had died, such assets \ were discovered as made it possible pay over a surplus to the widow. In answer to the Judge, the officia. assignee said lie had not heard of a similar instance in the Dominion. The Court made an offer to transfer the surplus assets to the widow.
