The House continued its secret session throughout this afternoon ) and at. the tea adjournment at 5.30 p.m. ■ The secret session of the House cons eluded at 10.25 o’clock to-night, aftei occupying the afternoon and the evening.
Altogether twenty-one speakers participated in the debate. Prior to the adjournment the following resolution was carried unanimously: “This House expresses to the Government, Parliament and people of the United Kingdom the firm intention of the Dominion to devote every effort, and to utilise every available resource, to assist the Mother Country in the. great struggle that is now proceeding, and reaffirms the unalterable determination of the Dominion to.continue this struggle, side by side with the United Kingdom, and the other members of the British Commonwealth until final victory is attained.”
'The House will resume at 2.30 p ip. to-morrow, when the financial debate will he resumed.
