General situation: An anticyclone is centred east of the Auckland Peninsula, while an extensive depression is advancing across the South Tasman Sea. The forecast is for moderate northerly winds changing later to southwesterly in the south. Weather cloudy to overcast with intermittent rain. Temperatures becoming cooler with southwesterly change; seas rather rough to rough. \ SHIPPING NOTES. The Kakapo is loading coal and timber at Greymouth for Auckland. The Kartigi is due at Greymouth today replacing the Karepo to load coal for Wellington.
