HOKITIKA LADIES CLUB A very successful “Field Day” was held yesterday in aid of the Red Cross Side and Wounded Fund. The amount j raised during the day was £3. This was considered very satisfactory, and tho Committee appreciates the generous cooperation of the club members, in the effort. The results of the play for the day were as follows: — , L.G.U.' Morning Medal play—Airs R: Paterson 104-34-73. C. Grade —Airs Cameron 81-5-76. Afternoon Tournament —Mrs R. Ross and Alls Ashley. Putting—Miss Rhodes. The winner was decided sifter a tie with Aliss Needs and Aliss G. Harrison was played off. The postponed Alay bogey for L.G.U. Saturday players, will be played this coming Saturday. Mrs R. King a former, member of the club has donated a trophy for L.G.U. play. Tho allocation of this trophy will be a pounced by the Committee at a later date. HOKITIKA CLUB. The No. 2 Medal Handicap postponed from last week-end, will be played on Saturday, the draw being; Ecclesfield end Haipor; Chcsnoy and Gillespie ; i Perry and Stuart; Steel and Buekland; Aitken and Childs; .Mclntvre and Armit-ageCameron and G.
