47 SHIPS HELP UP. (Biitish Official Wireless.) On May 14 there were 47 Allied and neutral ships in the United Kingdom contraband control bases, which had either been brought in or detained, in view of the situation in Scandinavia, and in the Low Countries. Twentyeight of these ships were detained when they were bound for the Low Countries. U-BOAT CAMPAIGN. STARTED FROM DUTCH COAST. BERLIN, May 16. U-boats, which have appeared on the Belgian and Dutch coasts, have now embarked on a campaign against Engldud.
