AGAINST BRITISH NAVY.
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright).
BERLIN, April 29.
Doctor Ley, broadcasting, said: “We shall destroy the British Navy. The British are capitalists and plutocrats, who know only one God—the money-bag. Every German workman : is worth more than' an English lord. ■’ltaly and Germany have one common enemy—London, which means Britain and France.” ' STEAMER MINED. STOCKHOLM, April 29. ' An unknown steamer sank after striking a mine between Sweden and Zealand. VARIOUS SINKINGS. LONDON, April 29. The Admiralty reports as follows: Three more enemy .supply ships have been torpedoed and sunk. His Majesty’s trawler “Hammond,” has been sunk.
H.M.S. trawler “Larwood,” was set on fire by incendiary bombs. There were no casualties.
There is not the slightest truth in the German cjaim to having sunk or severely damaged in the past 48 hours five cruisers and 13 transports.
There has been a determined German effort to render the Norwegian waters untenable. This has had only slight results.
