This .grant cavern is a magnificent sight, and adds considerably to the scenic beauty of the glacier. At the new outlet which the river lias made, a large lake has been formed, and visitors have now to be ferried across the moraine to the glacier proper in a b.:at. The boot, however, is only in use temporarily, and a path skiiting the lake i is now in the course of construction, and should be completed within a week or so. The changes have not in any way deteriorated from the scenic wonders of the glacier, but, on tho contrary, the giant ice cavern and the I newly-formed lake should prove an added attraction to tourists.
