RIOT IN HOBART GAOL (Australian Press Association). HOBART, September 25. Prisoners in Hobart Gaol attacked warders and damaged the prison property during a demontsration. A warder was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, and a prisoner was shot and wounded in a leg. Tlie disturbance was quelled without outside help. Many windows in the gaol were broken.
