A BERLIN CLAIM. NEW YORK, September 25. A Berlin radio announced eight French planes were shot down at Friedriehshafen. The raiders were routed and dropped no bombs. AIR. OPERATIONS. LONDON, September 25. _ A Ministry of Information communique says that the Royal Air Force carried out successful daylight reconnaissances in West Germany, and dropped leaflets. All planes returned safely j and encountered no serious opposition.
