The Department of Labour has circulated local bodies that it is intended as far as possible to allocate workers under Scheme 13 to farm development work. To that end, arrangements are being made to stimulate still further the prosecution of useful developmental and reproductive work under the forming scheme, 4 B. The scope of the scheme is now being widened, which should prove of value to farmers requiring labour. Where requiicd men w’ill he transferred from No. 13 to 4 B work to carry out. productive work on the land.
