,i ' ' NEW WELCOME. : ‘ :■ The New Welcome mine report for August is: The main cross-cut has been extended 59 feet from 578 feet to 631 feet completed. At the 595 foot mark another lode formation was intercepted, which proved to be sft. wide from wall to wall and consisted mostly of quartz. Dish prospects did not : reveal any visible gold.. Good reefing country is now showing, in the drive, a few, small .quartz ,leaders. ; .GOLDEN DAWN ORE. •nThie following report has been issued by. Golden. Dawn Gold Mines, - Ltd., . Consequenfly. the winze was only sunk 4ft., but the assay values .increased still further, averaging at 34ft. £2O 3s ■7d a ton, and at 36ft. £37 2s 6d. This is for the full width and length of winze, 6ft. . ; by 4ft. on hanging wall of Teef. The full width of the reef is not known.
