FEDERATION’S OFFER

WELLINGTON, -September 6
The Sawmillers’ Federation has conveyed to the Government its desire for the fullest possible co-operation and offering the services of the Federation in ally required direction. Hon. D. G. Sullivan expressed thanks and appreciation, and states, the offer will bo borne in mind,; and the Government will get in touch with the Federation for any assistance that may be required. The secretary of the Federation, Mr ;Seed, says)that already orders have been placed and mills are busy cutting and-Gomifiencing delivery of timber supplies for immediate and the most urgent requirements of .'the defence authorities.
