TEACHERS’ ANNUAL MATCH. (Per Press Association—Copyright). CHRISTCHURCH, August 22. The ninth annual teachers’ golf field day was held in fine weather on the Waitikiri links. About 30 players took part, and the matches were most successful. In the morning a bogey match took place for the Pedagogic Bowl, and this was won by Mr N. House, of Nelson, with a score of 2 down. Mr J. P. Hawke, of Christchurch, was runner-up with a score of 3 down. A trophy for long-handicap players was won by Mr H. Scott, of Timaru, whose score was 4 down. In the afternoon a Stableford competition took place for the Anderson Cup. This was won by Mr H. V. Reid, of) Met liven, with a score of 36 points. Mr 4<. li. Harper, of Hokitika, was run-ner-up with 33 points.
